The position is a member of the Health Care Center Executive Team support administrative staff. The incumbent reports to the Administrator, who has direct line responsibility for all services (clinical, support, administrative) at the HCC and is responsible for leadership and coordination of daily operations. The incumbent provides executive level administrative and secretarial services to the Administrator, Associate Chief of Staff, Chief Nurse and Associate Administrator, and provides direction to and coordinates with administrative and support staff. Primary duties include, but are not limited to:
Preparing a wide variety of recurring and nonrecurring correspondence, reports, and other documents. Consolidating and finalizing information from files and documents for supervisor's use. Establishing and monitoring suspense dates and updates supervisor and appropriate staff as deadlines occur. Receiving telephone calls/in-person visitors and referring or responding appropriately. Maintaining management's calendar by coordinating meeting arrangements, scheduling meetings and conferences. Establishing and maintaining office procedures (key mgmt. & govt vehicle mgt) and records in accordance with applicable regulations. Is point of contact for ADPAC needs for PAS. Using varied and advanced functions of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, etc) software to create, format, modify and print a variety of letters, reports, memos and other documents. Interacting with staff to complete timekeeping and timekeeping reports and submitting corrections. Work Schedule:

Applicants who are current Federal employees and have held a GS grade any time in the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements by the closing date of this announcement. For a GS-06 position in this series, you must have served 52 weeks at the GS-05. For a GS-07 position in this series, you must have served 52 weeks at the GS-06. The grade may have been in any occupation, but must have been held in the Federal service. An SF-50 that shows your time-in-grade eligibility must be submitted with your application materials. You may qualify based on your experience as described below:
Specialized Experience for the GS-6 level:
You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade GS-05. Specialized experience for the Secretary (Office Automation) occupation includes but not limited to:
Prepare correspondences, reports, and newsletters, and proficient in the use of Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and internet application. Must be able to type at least 40 words per minute. Specialized Experience for the GS-7 level:
You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade GS-06. Specialized experience for the Secretary (Office Automation) occupation includes but not limited to:
Provide administrative support and assistance to a management team, assist in managing and troubleshooting problems, establish priorities and work independently to assure smooth and timely flow of work, knowledge of the administrative and clinical services and programs of a medical center. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
